Our mirror polished stainless steel tubes are also suitable for bending and cold forming, and therefore are often used to manufacture the framework for boat awnings and also for stern and bow rails. Whilst grade 304 stainless steel tubes generally have an excellent resistance to corrosion, they are susceptible to salt water. Should your application be on a sea going vessel then you will require your stainless steel tube in grade 316. Grade 304 stainless steel tubes have excellent weldability and can often be seen used in sanitary applications, as pull bars, and as hand rails and balustrades. Mirror polished stainless pipes are also commonly found in the engine bays of modified cars, and are also used as exhaust tubes.
